AROGYA-MITRAS

About:

• Under Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY), Arogya-Mitras will act as an interface between the beneficiaries and the system.
  
  
• Under PMJAY, it has been proposed to hire/depute Arogya-Mitra at each Empanelled Health Care Provider (EHCP) to provide support in: Beneficiary Verification, Query Management, Grievance redressal, and Handling emergency cases.
  
  
• Recent MoU:
  • As per the MoU, NSDC will ensure quality training of Arogya-Mitra through its network of Skill Development Centres functioning under PMKVY.
    
    
  • All the Arogyamitras will be certified by health care sector skill council, the body notified as non-statutory body for health sector under the aegis of NSDC.
