REWA ULTRA MEGA SOLAR

About: 

• Location: Rewa Ultra Mega Solar is a solar park in the Gurh tehsil of Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh. 
  
  
• Timeline: The project was commissioned with 750 MW capacity in July 2018. 
  
  
• Bodies involved: Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited (RUMSL), the implementing agency of the project, is a joint venture between the Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikash Nigam Limited (MPUVNL) and the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). 
  
  
• It is the first project to get funding from Clean Technology Fund (CTF) in India. 
  
  
• It is also the first solar park in India to get World Bank funding.
