- Over the past six decades, the corporation has developed expertise across underground and open-cast mining, ore processing, technology development, occupational safety, radiation protection, and environmental management.
- The company operates six underground mines (Bagjata, Jaduguda, Bhatin, Narwapahar, Turamdih, and Mohuldih) and one open pit (Banduhurang) in the state of Jharkhand.
- The ore produced from these mines is processed at two processing plants located in Jaduguda and Turamdih.
