Eminent sculptor and Rajya Sabha member Padma Vibhushan Raghunath Mohapatra passed away while undergoing treatment for COVID-19.

About:

  • Raghunath Mohapatra (1943 – 2021) was an architect, sculptor, and a Nominated Member of Rajya Sabha.

  • He was nominated by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India as a Member of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) in 2000.
