India successfully test-fired nuclear strategic long-range ballistic missile Agni IV off the Odisha coast from the Integrated Test Range at the Abdul Kalam Island.

Agni-IV is the fourth in the Agni series of missiles.
It has been developed by Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).
Features:
The missile is light-weight and has two stages of solid propulsion and a payload with re-entry heat shield.
Agni-IV is equipped with advanced Avionics, 5th generation on-board computer and distributed architecture.
