AP MEDTECH ZONE (AMTZ)

Several scientists from 20 premier research institutes based in the U.S., U.K. have partnered with the consortium led by India’s first medical devices park AP MedTech Zone (AMTZ), in developing medical implants.

About:

Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone Limited (AMTZ) is an enterprise under the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
It is dedicated for medical device manufacturing. The objective is to reduce the cost of manufacturing up to 40%, to simplify end-to-end operations for manufacturers, and to reduce import dependency.
AMTZ was incorporated in 2016 and the foundation stone was laid in August 2016.
