The Defence India Startup Challenge has been launched for the Innovations for Defence Excellence (iDEX) scheme.
It was launched in August 2018 by the Defence Innovation Organisation (DIO) to address technological needs of the Indian defence establishment in 11 problem statement sectors such as Artificial Intelligence in Logistics, Unmanned Vehicles, See Through Armour etc.
Applicants (start-ups/MSMEs & individuals) capable of producing functional prototypes in 11 problem statement sectors will be awarded up to Rs. 1.5 crores (in the form of grant/equity) along with mentoring support.
