On the occasion of “National Milk Day”, Union Agriculture Minister informed that a mobile application - e-pashuhat (GPMS Transportal) - has been created and integrated with UMANG (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance) application.
E-pashuhaat:
Objective: e-pashuhaat portal - www.epashuhaat.gov.in aims to connect breeders and farmers regarding availability of bovine germplasm.
Launched in:
Parent scheme: The portal has been launched under the scheme "National Mission on Bovine Productivity" by Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries (DADF).
Recent development:
Now, a mobile application - e-pashuhat (GPMS Transportal) - has been created and integrated with UMANG application.
So far, e-pashuhaat (GPMS Transportal) App has been automatically downloaded and available for 1 crore registered UMANG users.
UMANG:
UMANG is an acronym for Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance.

Objective: UMANG provides a single platform for all Indian Citizens to access pan India e-Gov services ranging from Central to Local Government bodies and other citizen centric services. Objective is to drive Mobile Governance in India.
