INTEGRATED CONTROL ROOM FOR EMERGENCY RESPONSE (ICR-ER)

About:

• Location: The ICR-ER will be set up in Ministry of Home Affairs.
  
  
• Mandate: To cater to the requirement of Disaster Management as well as Internal Security related emergencies by providing information on near real-time basis.
  
  
• Agencies involved: Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) will provide technical expertise for setting up of ICR-ER whereas the project will be executed under overall supervision of Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
  
  
• Project duration: The proposed Control Room is expected to be established in next one-and-a-half year.
