largest lake in Africa.

Uganda

Kenya.

called Victoria Nyanza in Kenya, Nalubaale in Uganda

Ukerewe in Tanzania.
It is
crossed by the equator.
After Lake Superior in North America, it is the
second-largest freshwater lake on Earth.
It is the
world’s largest tropical lake.
The
Kagera River
is the major river that
empties
into the lake.
It is the
chief reservoir of the Nile River.
The lake supports the
largest freshwater fishery in the world.
