Scholarships:
- The Government of India will provide scholarships to 5 crore minority students in the next five years.
- The scholarships include pre-matric, post-matric and merit-cum-means.
- Of the 5 crore students, 50 % will be girls students.
Padho-Badho Awareness Campaign:
- Padho-Badho Awareness Campaign will be launched across the country. It will be launched in 60 minority concentrated districts during the first phase.
- It will encourage education especially in minority girls in those areas of the country where people do not send their children to schools due to socio-economic reasons.
- The campaign will include street plays, short films and cultural programmes.
