In Madhya Pradesh, continuous rain has damaged Asia's largest solar Power project in Rewa. The damage was caused after heavy rain triggered a mudslide.

Location: Rewa Ultra Mega Solar is a solar park in the Gurh tehsil of Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh.
Timeline: The project was commissioned with 750 MW capacity in July 2018.
Bodies involved: Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited (RUMSL), the implementing agency of the project, is a joint venture between the Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikash Nigam Limited (MPUVNL) and the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).
It is the first project to get funding from Clean Technology Fund (CTF) in India.
It is also the first solar park in India to get World Bank funding.
