According to a new report by United Nations’ agency UN Women, Sexual violence against women and girls in Sudan has increased sharply during the country’s ongoing conflict.

    • Natural Resources: Petroleum; small reserves of iron ore, copper, chromium ore, zinc, tungsten, mica, silver, gold; hydropower.
