Union Minister of Culture informed Lok Sabha about the Tagore Cultural Complexes (TCC).
About:
This Ministry of Culture administers Central Sector Scheme (CSS) component namely “Financial Assistance for Tagore Cultural Complexes (TCC)” under “Scheme of Financial Assistance for creation of Cultural infrastructure”.
Under the scheme, the Ministry provides Central Financial Assistance to Central/State Govt. agencies/bodies, Universities, Municipal Corporations, not- for-profit organizations etc. for construction of Tagore Cultural Complexes in various parts of the country.
As per the existing guidelines of the scheme, under normal circumstances a project is required to be completed within a period of three years from the date of award of the project.
