In Madhya Pradesh, popular classical music festival ‘Tansen Samaroh’ began in Gwalior.

About:

Tansen Samaroh is the oldest classical music festival in India. It is the 95th year of the festival.
The five-day festival is celebrated every year in the month of December in Behat village of Gwalior district, Madhya Pradesh.
it is celebrated in the memory of one of the most eminent singers of Indian history, ‘Mian Tansen’.
It is organised by Ustad Alauddin Khan Kala Evam Sangeet Academy, under the Madhya Pradesh culture department.
