Union Government has constituted a committee to decide parameters and operational modalities for pilot study on Conditional Cash Transfer in lieu of Take Home Ration (THR).
About:
Ministry of Women and Child Development has decided that a Pilot on Conditional Cash Transfer is to be carried out in few blocks of two districts each in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.
The decision has been taken based on the direction of National Council on India’s Nutrition Challenges.
In this background, a Committee has been constituted under the Chairmanship of Vinod K. Paul, Member, Health & Nutrition, NITI Aayog for deciding the parameters and operational modalities for Conditional Cash Transfer.
