About:

• Ministry of Women and Child Development has decided that a Pilot on Conditional Cash Transfer is to be carried out in few blocks of two districts each in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.
  
  
• The decision has been taken based on the direction of National Council on India’s Nutrition Challenges.
  
  
• In this background, a Committee has been constituted under the Chairmanship of Vinod K. Paul, Member, Health & Nutrition, NITI Aayog for deciding the parameters and operational modalities for Conditional Cash Transfer.
