Virat Kohli, the Indian cricket team captain, has become the fastest to complete 10,000 ODI runs.

About:

  • With this he broke Sachin Tendulkar’s record who completed 10,000 ODI runs in 259 innings. Kohli has reached the mark in just 205 innings.

  • He achieved this feat when he scored 157 not out in the second ODI against West Indies.

  • Kohli is now the fifth Indian batsman to complete 10,000 runs in ODIs, the other four are Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid and MS Dhoni.
