Select the answer using the code given below :

Answer: 3

Explanation:

• Belarus is not a member of the European Union. It is located in Eastern Europe and has political and  economic links with Russia, but it has not joined the EU. So, point 1 is not correct.
• Poland is a member of the European Union. It joined the EU in 2004 during the major eastern  enlargement of the Union. So, point 2 is correct.
• Germany is a member of the European Union. It was one of the founding members of the European  integration process that later developed into the European Union. So, point 3 is correct.
• Switzerland is not a member of the European Union. Although it is located in Europe and has close  economic relations with the EU, it remains outside the Union. So, point 4 is not correct.

Therefore, option (3) is the correct answer.
